‘While You watched’ is a MASTER’S film by Sai Avinash Haval.
The film talks about harassment in Brussels: it is about our understanding of safety, and the reality of safety of people around us.
Sai wants to help us notice the small moments of street harassment that often happen in everyday life but are easily ignored.
Sometimes we walk past things without realising how they affect someone else. By showing these moments, the film hopes to create early awareness, so that we pay attention, respecting others in public spaces, and understanding how our presence and actions can make the city feel safer for everyone.
The film is made for institutional purposes and will be shown in festivals around Europe.
We're looking for extra's of all ages and all genders that want to spend half a day or one whole day on set with us. Potentially with moments of interaction with our actors.
